The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) is a thorough and detailed presentation of the City’s financial condition. It is the result of the cooperative efforts of the City’s independent auditor, the City’s Administrative Services Department, and other departments as appropriate.
This report is prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB).
Certificate of Achievement
The City of Lewiston has received the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement in Financial Reporting for twenty-one consecutive years. The Certificate of Achievement is a prestigious national award recognizing conformance with the highest standards for preparation of local government financial reports.
