Learning technology can be overwhelming, but we are here to help. At the Lewiston City Library, we have volunteers and staff ready to work with you one-on-one to solve your technology problems. All you have to do is come into the library or call and sign up for a 1 hour tech tutor session.
The Tech Tutor sign-up sheet will be available at the 2nd Floor Help Desk starting Monday, May 31st with open sessions starting the week of June 7th. Tech Tutor sessions are scheduled one week in advance and the available slots include:
Monday - Friday:
- 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
- 2:15 PM - 3:15 PM
If one of these time slots does not work for you, you can leave a message with the 2nd Floor Help Desk with your available times. and we will try to work around your schedule.
Some common tech tutor activities have included:
- Basic computer help
- Learning a new device
- Help with the Microsoft or Google Suites
- Social media help
- Using storage devices
- Scanning and storing photos
