In addition to Ancestry: Library Edition, the Lewiston City Library also has access to Fold3 by Ancestry, providing access to military records, photos, stories, and personal documents for the United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom with a grand total of 594,316,336 records and counting.  These records are broken up into the categories such as:

  •  US Revolutionary War
  •   War of 1812
  •  Indian and Mexican American Wars
  •  US Civil War (both sides)
  • Spanish-American War 
  •  WWI 
  • WWII 
  • Vietnam War 
  • Black History
  • Native American History
  • Korean War
  • Non-military
  •  and more

The site also features search options for browsing, war stories, and memorials.  Need some help or can’t find what you’re looking for? Stop by and visit us and our volunteers from the Twin River Genealogical Society! Twin River Genealogical Society Volunteers are available for help Monday-Thursday from 1-3pm.
