The Real Scoop on the Library Newsletter

By Emma Schneider

The Lewiston City Library now has a free, monthly subscription newsletter that is sent directly to your email’s inbox! The newsletter will consist of updates on what is happening here at the library as well as upcoming event information (dates, times, ages, and registration info). This is an excellent way to stay up-to-date on everything LEW Library from programming to Bookmobile routes. We know your email often gets cluttered by countless emails a day, that’s why we keep it to the oh so sweet once a month newsletter to help keep you informed and connected.

How do I, a Lewiston City Library patron, sign up for the newsletter? Excellent question you clever patron! Staff members may be asking you when you update your account or see if you are interested while checking out your items. If we forget to ask, feel free to ask us about the newsletter and we can give you more information and subscribe you! Not interested at this time, no worries! Let us know that and we will set your account so we won’t continue asking you. There are lots of ways to keep connected with us such as through our website, Facebook, Instagram, handouts, flyers, newspaper articles, and even by just having chats with us.

Okay, but what if I am not a Lewiston resident but want access to your newsletter? Again, phenomenal question – you are full of them! We have an area on the homepage of our website that is aptly entitled “Lewiston Library Newsletter” for just that purpose. Fill out the little survey prompts and you will be added to our newsletter mailing list.

If you have any questions about the newsletter – feel free to give us a call or come visit us, we would be happy to answer any of your questions and to sign you up! If you like Newsflashes like this article, you will like our informative newsletter. While I wish I could tell every one of you library happenings in a fun, fast, 1930s Mid-Atlantic accent, this is the next best thing.
