VROOM VROOM! Having troubles with your vehicle and want to take a DIY approach to fixing it? Sure, you can search the wide world of the internet for various videos and how-to’s, but there’s also a great resource on the Lewiston Library website that can help with a lot of your automotive needs.
Chilton, accessed through the LiLI (Libraries Linking Idaho) Database on our website, is a free-to-use resource that provides detailed information for vehicle maintenance and repairs. With everything from step-by-step service and repair procedures and wiring diagrams, to maintenance tables and a video library, Chilton has you covered for most any automotive repair need you may have.
To access this resource, simply click on the Adult Learning link under our E-Library page, and scroll down to the Lili Database. After entering your Idaho zip code and location, just search under the letter “C” for Chilton Library. Once on the home page, you can put in the specific make, model, and year of the vehicle you’re interested in. In a flash you’ll be accessing repair information, diagrams, recall and bulletin information, and even labor estimates for how long a repair may take.
The Chilton Library will surely have the information you need to help get you back to zooming around in no time!
