The City of Lewiston Policy requires a minimum of 14 days’ notice to be considered as having left in good standing. If you are retiring, however, you will want to give as much advance notice as possible. Human Resources recommends 60 to 90 days’ notice so we can process the paperwork for Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI) and schedule a visit to answer any questions you might have.
