Historic Preservation Commission Library Plaque Commemoration

The Historic Preservation Commission, through a grant from the Idaho State Historical Society, will be celebrating the installation of a plaque on the library that shares historical information about the building and its role in the West End Historic District. The speaker for this event will be Garry Bush.

Micah & Me Ukulele Class

Special quests Micah & Me will offer an hour long beginning Ukulele Class. 30 ukuleles will be available for the class or you can bring your own. Registration is required for this class.

LEW On the Go Grand Opening

Celebrate the future of the Library’s new addition of the Lewiston City Library On the Go outreach vehicle! Part of this event will be Pixel Art, where each participant is allowed to paint or color one square of a large paint-by-number pixel square design. After everyone works together to color 1 square, take a step back and see what was created. Registration for our Summer Reading Program will also be held at this event! There will also be VR headsets for anyone to experience.

The Library on the Go will provide a limited introduction to Zentangle® art. You can practice at the park or take a pre-made kit home to do at your leisure. Library staff are not Certified Zentangle Instructors. The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns.
